Young and the Restless’ Lauralee Bell Welcomes Two New Family Members

As Christine on The Young and the Restless, Lauralee Bell has been connected to the Williams, Romalotti, and Abbott families. Chris is wed to Paul, is the ex-wife of Danny, and her late mother Rebecca was once wed to John Abbott. Now, the actress has added to her real-life family, welcoming not just one but two new additions to her clan!

“Puppy love,” Bell posted on Instagram sharing photos of two new adorable yellow labradors that she has taken into her home. She let the hashtags reveal her thoughts on it: “#newfamilymembers #yellowlabs #sleeplessnights #soworthit #grateful #labsofinstagram #puppylove.” A few days later, Bell gave an update on how her new pups were getting along with the family dog.

“Explaining the rules for #memorialdayweekend,” Bell posted. “#havefun #besafe #listentoyourelders #labsofinstagram #puppylife #yellowlab #puppies.” Kym Douglas, wife of Jerry Douglas (ex-John), wrote on Bell’s post, “This is precious. Can they get their own show? I could watch them all day!”

“I can’t handle the cuteness!!!” wrote Sabryn Genet (ex-Tricia), adding two heart emojis. Added Bell’s siter-in-law Marina Arena Bell, former executive producer and head writer of YR, “Ok. I need to [meet] them stat!!!!!!!!” Beth Maitland (Traci) added, “So excited for you!!!”

Dogs have appeared sporadically on YR over the years. There was Victor’s (Eric Braeden) dog Zapato. Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) had a little dog Dash, who later wound up being owned by Sage and was renamed Bugatti. The pooch did not take it well when he encountered Adam whose identity was hidden to most given the fact that he’d had plastic surgery, but Bugatti had Adam’s number!

For a while, Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) had a dog named Humphrey. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) gave Nick’s son Noah a puppy once to help him deal with some issues. That dog’s name was Fisher.
