Lily’s heart broke last week on “The Young and the Restless” when she learned her father was the monster who kidnapped Hilary. Her shock was evident as she replayed the grueling search and rescue effort while her father stood on the sidelines hiding the truth the entire time.
Soap Hub asked what you want Lily (Christel Khalil) to do. Should she turn Neil over to the police and watch him go to jail or should she keep the secret and move on with her life?
Of the nearly 7,000 votes, 55% of you want Lily to her father in. It’s time that he paid for kidnapping Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and watching his family go through hell. Poor Devon (Bryton James) nearly went to jail for life, and even Cane (Daniel Goddard) was a prime suspect. Just because Neil, Hilary, and Devon have an agreement to keep quiet, it doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be punished.
A smaller 35% think Lily needs to do what’s best for the family and keep the secret safe. Neil is seeing punishment enough with Hilary blackmail him. You feel nothing good will come from the police being involved. If she turns Neil in, the Winters clan will be further ripped apart.
The final 10% are sick of this storyline. You don’t care what happens as long as it goes away for good. This has dragged on far too long and you’d rather the whole thing comes a conclusion–fast!
