Romance is important on The Young and the Restless for sure, but so is friendship. There are plenty of dynamic duos in Genoa City connected by the power of buddy-hood. Which one is your favorite? What almost 2,000 voters told us:
The Young and the Restless Polling: Walk a Myle In Their Shoes
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) started off snipey and cranky but, since then, the two have developed an interesting rapport. He mostly whines, and she mostly tells him to get over himself – other people have it much worse than this poor, little rich boy. It’s as good of a basis as any, a majority 52% of the audience suggests. And now she’ll be working for him, so even more fun all around!
Phyll-ial Devotion
Michael (Christian J. Le Blanc) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) go a long way back on The Young and the Restless. They both know what it’s like to be the town pariah, and they first bonded over that. Nowadays, they are both respectable citizens – more or less. They have each other’s backs and tell each other hard truths, which is why 21% of viewers look forward to their scenes together.
Off Camera
Nina (Tricia Cast) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) are friends. Sure, 15% shrug, why not? We just saw them reconnect following Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chance’s (Justin Gaston) wedding – though we guess Chris isn’t a close enough friend of the family to actually be invited to the ceremony. And we can presume they’ve been in touch all these years… off camera.
Last Chance
Chance is about the last friend Adam (Mark Grossman) has in the world. Even if he did kind of, sort of, get Chance shot. Chance has covered up for Adam before, and Adam hopes he’ll continue to do so. A last-place 12% of the fans think Chance is good for Adam. And he needs all the friends he can get. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
