You Gotta Have Friends: Which Platonic Pair Do Young and the Restless Fans Miss the Most?

Love makes The Young and the Restless’ world go round, but friendships are important, too. These friends haven’t been hanging out as much as they used to, and over 2,000 fans want them to know their friendships are missed:

You’ve Got the ‘Nack’

Almost half of you, 48%, miss Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) friendship. Sure, they used to be married, and they went through the tragedy of losing a child, but their relationship has been a lot more mellow in the last decade.

Jack has accepted that Nikki can’t stay away from Victor (Eric Braeden), and Nikki has accepted that Jack will always worship her. They are both quite happy where they are. With Jabot suffering at the hands of Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), now might be a good time for Nikki to demonstrate some loyalty and help her pal out.

Remember When

Another formerly wed couple who’ve settled into friendship is Paul (Doug Davidson) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman). We don’t see much of either these days, and 35% of the audience isn’t pleased by that development.

Now that Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is doing all the sleuthing at the Genoa City Police Department, Paul should have plenty of time for hanging out. Maybe Lauren should introduce Paul to Sally (Courtney Hope)… and see if she reminds him of anyone he once used to know…

Gal Pals

Nina (Tricia Cast) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) reunited briefly when Nina first came to town for Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) and Chance’s wedding, but for 7%, they haven’t hung out much since. Which is weird, since Nina doesn’t seem to have anything to do except flutter around Abby and talk endlessly about the baby Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is having for her.

It seems kind of boring. We don’t like boring. She and Christine should get into some trouble, like back in the good ol’ days. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
