Would Cane Make A Good Mate for Anyone Else On The Young and the Restless?

Cane Ashby was Genoa City’s most eligible hunk when he first arrived on The Young and the Restless (YR) back in 2007.

First, Amber Moore wanted the Aussie hunk to be her husband and then Chloe Mitchell attempted to sink her claws into Cane (Daniel Goddard). Fortunately, he got away from the two of them and found true love with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Now that he’s headed for the single life again should Cane find another woman?

The Single Guy
You either believe that he’s bad news, given the mess he’s made out of his life by getting Juliet pregnant during an overseas business trip, or you want him to be unavailable for anyone else, hoping there’s an inevitable reunion with Lily coming.

Either way, most of you, a little over 61%, think that Cane should fly solo for the immediate future. You definitely don’t think that Cane shouldn’t add any social media dating apps to his smartphone!

Quite A Catch
Just under 39% of you think otherwise, going with the option that Cane should partner up with another lady in Genoa City because he’s quite a catch.

And let’s face it, the guy is pretty great, his one dalliance with Juliet aside.

Let’s look at a few of Cane’s better qualities: he forgave Lily her fling with Joe Clark; he’s a good provider, having worked at many of Genoa City’s top companies; he’s a good father to Charlie and Mattie and you get the feeling that he’s not trying to stay in their lives just for show.

Cane’s also stood by Juliet, going with her to doctor’s appointments.

Cane’s learned from his mistake, and the next woman he ends up with will likely reap the benefits from his feeling so badly over what happened between him and Lily that he’ll be the perfect mate.
