It’s possible that Juliet would have tried to get Cane away from Lily by using their son Sam as enticement on The Young and the Restless (YR). But that all became moot after she unexpectedly died from childbirth complications. Is her story really over though?
Eagle-eared fans of Y&R couldn’t help but take notice when it came out that Lily (Christel Khalil) was actually a better blood-type match for baby Sam than his own father Cane (Daniel Goddard) was.
According to published reports, this story is going to be revisited somewhat after Devon (Bryton James) comes upon a video of Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) of Juliet (Laur Allen) maintaining she didn’t sleep with Cane (Daniel Goddard) to get a job.
Does this mean that they never slept together at all? Nothing would please Cane and Lily fans more than to know that Cane was faithful to his wife, even when he was inebriated.
But then why and how did a DNA test prove Cane was the dad? And why was Lily a better blood match for Sam? It’s possible Juliet’s video will start to explain some of these lingering questions and theories fans have.
Watch for Devon to give the flash drive to Cane and Lily. Then, it’ll be their decision as to whether or not they decide to watch it! Tune in to find out what they do!
