Faith has never really warmed to the other people her parents have dated and perhaps that’s with good reason, given that she recently spotted Scott, her mom’s beau, smooching with Abby on The Young and the Restless!
That’s the kind of secret that a little girl is going to find difficult to keep to herself! Soap Hub asked Y&R fans if they think that Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is going to share this news with her mom or keep mum! Read on for the results.
Guess What I Heard?
Despite nobody liking a tattletale, the majority of you, nearly 89%, feel that Faith’s not going to be able to keep quiet. She hasn’t approved of Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) love interests, including Avery and Chelsea, so it’s likely she’ll take Scott down simply since she can.
Granted, Faith did take a liking to Dylan, Sharon’s last mate, but that’s actually working against Scott’s favor. Faith would want her mom free in case Dylan returns.
Faith In Faith
The rest of you, a little over 11%, feel that Faith will stay out of it and not tell Sharon what she saw.
She knows it would probably hurt her mom deep down and perhaps it’d be best to let the adults work these things out. Faith would need some guidance from an older figure she trusts on how to process this adult situation, however.
It’s possible that Faith, as adult as she may seem at times, simply isn’t mature enough to handle what she’s witnessed.
Out Of Her Hands
Faith may feel guilty if she tells her mother information that ends up hurting her. But that’s not the only way Sharon (Sharon Case) can learn about Scott and Abby. Scott could be a stand-up guy and tell Sharon about his feelings for Abby and the kiss. Abby herself might decide it’s best if Sharon knows.
Sharon and Scott haven’t been seeing each other that long. Maybe they could all handle the situation with a bit of maturity and decide to keep things open and fluid. That way, everything’s out in the open, and Faith wouldn’t be trapped in a tough situation.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
