Tragedy has struck Hilary and Devon on The Young and the Restless in light of the couple losing their baby. Mariah has said she’d do anything to take away that pain. How far is she willing to go to make that happen?
Perhaps Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will somehow harvest one of Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) eggs and use that to become pregnant herself in order to carry a baby to term for the devastated couple?
If Mariah were to attempt that it could lead to happiness for Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary or create an even more dramatic situation.
Suppose Hilary recovers and leaves town in order to deal with the grief of losing her child. While she’s away, a pregnant Mariah could bond with her unborn baby and decide she wants to keep the child for herself!
And let’s not forget that Devon and Mariah used to date. He could fall for her again and that could leave Hilary out in the cold if Devon and Mariah and a new baby became a happy family.
But this is getting ahead of things. Mariah seemed quite sincere in wanting to help her pals and her ending up with Devon would accomplish just the opposite of that!

Keep in mind that Hilary’s not one to take things lying down. If she were to exit Genoa City and return only to find out that Mariah has taken her man and had his baby — with Hilary’s egg (!) — you can bet that Hilary would take action to regain her life.
Committing to carrying a baby is a big decision and it might be one that Mariah’s not prepared to make. Mariah does know her friends are incredible pain and she’d do anything to relieve that pain.
