The earth-shattering explosion that rocked Genoa City left the fate of Adam up in the air. As heartbroken as we are that Justin Hartley left The Young and the Restless, it’s possible that in true soap fashion the character could come back later with a new actor. No matter how it all shakes out, obviously Chloe had EVERYTHING to do with his likely demise.

There’s a possibility that Adam somehow managed to escape the blinding blast. Soap Hub asked if you think Adam should exact revenge on Chloe if he made it out alive.

Bring Her Down!
Out of over 4,900 votes, 77% of you believe Adam needs to bring Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) down if he ends up alive after her atrocious attack. Chloe lost her child, and it was Adam’s fault. However, accidents happen and Chloe knew he did not set out to kill her baby.

Chloe supposedly went to get help, but she’s still clearly quite ill. Her obsession with making Adam pay caused her to go completely off the rails. If he somehow manages to live, Adam must make sure she’s stopped before she hurts anybody else. Plus, somebody has to ensure she doesn’t hurt or endanger Bella.

Have Compassion
Still, 18% of you believe that Adam shouldn’t get revenge on Chloe. Not only is she mentally ill and sick, but also revenge could be negative for Adam. If he’s still alive, you think he needs to spend his effort focusing on himself and his family.

You know that if he gets caught up in a revenge plot he’ll become too much like Victor, and you know how Victor’s scheming turned out in this instance.

An Uncertain Future…
Finally, 6% of you aren’t sure what Adam should do if he miraculously lives. You can see him making Chloe pay, but you can also see him fully focusing on himself and his family. You don’t know what he should do should he get the chance. Brushes with death like this can certainly completely change a person.
