Whose Side Should Nikki Take on The Young and the Restless?

The visitation battle for baby Christian has come to a close on The Young and the Restless — with heartbreaking results. While Nick gets everything he wants, Dylan loses the little boy he loves.

The family dilemma weighs heavily on Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) heart. She can’t stand seeing her sons at odds and hurting each other so deeply. To make things worse, they are pushing for her to pick sides!

Soap Hub asked whose team she needs to be on. Should she side with one son over the other, or should Nikki steer clear of the drama and simply show her support to both? We polled over 2,000 readers, and the results prove fans want Nikki’s motherly love given equally!

Stay Neutral!
An overwhelming 76% can’t imagine any mother picking sides in a case like this. Nick and Dylan  (Steve Burton) are victims here, and Nikki needs to be there for both of them. She may not be able to fix her family, but she can at least lend an ear and a shoulder to cry on.

Be Team Dylan!
However, 14% of our readers think Nikki owes it to Dylan to try to make things right. She should be pushing Nick harder to let Dylan back into Christian’s life. The baby and Dylan both deserve her support even if Nikki believes that Sharon (Sharon Case) doesn’t!

Support Nick!
On the other hand, 10% of our readers are totally Team Nick (Joshua Morrow). He’s Christian’s dad (or so they think) and whatever he says goes! Nikki needs to respect him and stand behind him no matter what!
