The Young and the Restless introduced fans to a freshly SORAS’d Moses last week. He was only onscreen for a few short minutes but made a big impression on viewers, including our staff. Let us tell you, we’re already in love with Neil’s son.

The Young and the Restless Commentary

What is there not to like? Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines) is cute, funny, sweet, and probably the best person to bring back to Genoa City right now. We can always use a budding new doctor, a fresh face on the teen scene, and boy-oh-boy could Faith use a friend.

A New Couple Is Born?

Our fingers are crossed that Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Moses become the new Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case). The show is seriously lacking in the super couple department so why not make a new one, and start them as a teen dream and grow them into a powerful force as the years go by?

Fixing The Gaps

Moses may also be just what Devon (Bryton James) needs to clean up his romantic act. Bouncing between two women is sure to backfire someday very, very soon and he needs a reality check. He won’t be able to fool around with a teen in the house.

Can Moses also bridge the divide between Nate (Sean Dominic) and Devon? Sure, Nate slept with Devon’s girl, but Devon basically did the same thing right back. Oh, and not to mention Devon’s shady past hooking up with Hilary behind Neil’s back. It is time for these men to forgive, forget, and move on.

Let Us Count The Ways

Okay, okay, we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Moses as just Moses is special all on his own. Another connection to Neil (well, really, his only biological child) is more than welcome around town. The Winters family could use more players, more love, more scandal, and more all-around fun and we can’t wait for Moses to be a part of it. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
