Who Young and Restless Fans Want To See More of in 2017

The Young and the Restless (YR) should take it as a good sign that there are charcters and actors fans love so much, they’re clamoring to see more of them. Of course, another way to say it is that these are characters and actors that almost 5000 fans think were the most wasted during 2016. Who are they? Read on!

Neil to Ask Forgiveness!
Kristoff St. John’s Neil is an Emmy Award winning veteran. He’s been part of a super-couple, multiple love triangles (often with members of his own family, but nobody’s perfect), and is dad to two of the show’s younger leading players.

Which is why 55% of you are wondering why he got so little airtime this year. Why was there such minimal fall-out from the Hillary-in-a-coma debacle? And why can’t this hot, rich stud get a love interest that sticks around, for a change?

Ashley, My Dear, I Do Give a Damn
Speaking of hot, rich, and strangely single, 41% of viewers need to see Ashley (Eileen Davidson) on their screens more often. She lost her nerdy admirer (and that guy used to be Tad Martin, so you know he had some moves under that lab-coat) to the dreaded “left town”, while Stitch (Sean Carrigan) married Abby (Abby Ordway).

Then Stitch divorced Abby. And, yeah, that didn’t go anywhere. That left Ashley with nothing more to do than chastise Jack and nag him about Billy and Phyllis. Which is always fun, but she deserves more.

The Not Much Bunch
Given the option of Other, 4% split their votes between Hillary (her trouble-making really only hit its stride towards the end of 2016, so odds of seeing more of her in 2017 are good), Chloe, Sharon (even with all the baby drama, guess some fans wanted more), Noah, and Adam (at least the latter has an excuse; he spent a portion of 2016 dead).
