Who Would You Like to See Chelsea with on The Young and the Restless? Fans Weigh In

Now that her husband Adam was blown to smithereens on The Young and the Restless, poor Chelsea is left a young widow to raise their only son alone.

Granted, it’s only been a day since her beloved Adam (Justin Hartley) was declared dead. But, in daytime land, that begs one question: Who should Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) be paired with next? There are plenty of other men in Genoa City–a couple of whom Chelsea has had romances with before. Soap Hub asked fans to weigh in on who should romance Chelsea next.

The Nick Factor
Of the over 7,000 votes cast, 57%, went to Adam’s big brother, Nick (Joshua Morrow). The two siblings made peace in recent months, so who better than good guy Nick to help heal Chelsea’s broken heart? Besides, Nick endured the sudden death of his wife, Sage, only a few short months ago. He and Chelsea could commiserate over their lost loves and, eventually, find happiness with each other.

Suddenly Single
It’s too soon for the soap to even think about pairing Chelsea with another guy, according to 31% of you. You want Chelsea to stay single and concentrate her attentions on her son and fashion line. Then, when the time is right, she can move on and search for a new man.

A Dylan Reboot
Since Dylan’s marriage to Sharon is based on deception, 11% of you would like to see him leave her and reunite with his ex, Chelsea. They were in love once and could be again. The best part of this scenario would be that Dylan would be reunited with Connor, the child he once believed was his, and get to raise the boy as his son.

Back to Billy
Another 2% want to see Chelsea back with another ex-love, Billy. Obviously, your don’t approve of the Billy/Phyllis affair and think a reunion with Chelsea would put a swift end to it. Chelsea and Billy have always been friends who totally understand each other, making them a good match.
