Rumor has it the Sully/Christian storyline will soon come to a dramatic end on The Young and the Restless. But, withAdam being assumed dead, what does it mean for the baby?
A Motherless Child
The day Sage (Kelly Sullivan) died, Christian became motherless, making his secret identity much easier to hide. Sharon (Sharon Case) was able to pick up the baby, take him home, and live in her rose-colored world. No one has a clue Sully isn’t her son, but it looks like she won’t be able to keep up the lie much longer.
Paternity Mix-Up
Meanwhile, the problems don’t end there. Sharon thinks the baby is Sage and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) child. Nick thinks Christian is his baby, but Christian “died.” It seems Chelsea knows the whole truth and that Adam’s (Justin Hartley) son. So, what will happen when Dylan finds out the boy he’s raising isn’t his at all?
An Orphan of Circumstance
With Sage having died a while ago, and Adam pronounced dead, what will become of baby Christian? At first Nick will obviously assume he’s the father and will take on a parenting role — but if Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) speaks up, will that change things?
Chelsea and Nick are Christian’s legal step-parents, and if they can’t agree on a parenting arrangement, someone like Victor (Eric Braeden) may try to step in. A custody battle could ensue between the entire Newman family!
Christian’s life has already been full of twist and turns, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop anytime soon. Hopefully, one day soon, he’ll land in the arms of a loving parent and have the life he deserves.
