Who Really Set The Newman Stables On Fire On The Young and the Restless?

A big question remains in light of the fire that destroyed the Newman stables on The Young and the Restless. Who started the inferno that has caused Nikki and others to suffer emotional turmoil?

Fires are nothing new to Y&R. Gina’s went up in flames thanks to Kevin (Greg Rikaart). And Sharon (Sharon Case) set the main house ablaze during a period of mental instability.

Here are some suspects on Soap Hub’s expert radar. Hmmm…

J.T.: Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) violent ex could still be alive and is out for revenge against the women who he blames for his “death.” If it is J.T., watch for his portrayer, Thad Luckinbill, to pop up on the show again.

Sharon: Sharon (Sharon Case) has set fire to her in-laws’ property past. Maybe she’s had a break off-camera and broke out some gasoline and matches.

But to what end? Who knows? It would make more sense if Sharon torched the offices of Dark Horse given her recent split from Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Tessa: Tessa’s in deep trouble with the four women she’s been blackmailing. What better way to keep them on their toes than to throw them into another crisis?

But this fire only affects Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) directly. Memo to Sharon and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) — get some fire insurance from your agent!

Victor: Sure, he’s got an alibi – Victor (Eric Braeden) is out of the country and it makes no sense that he’d do damage to his own property – but he could have done this to get Nikki needing him.

Certainly, his family has been talking about him the last few days in light of the tragedy. Maybe Victor created some drama so he can swoop in and save the day.
