A much smaller 8% figure that it was Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). She’s the one he kept prisoner in the building on whose roof the shooting took place. She has the best reason for wanting Adam out of her and Connor’s (Judah Mackey) lives forever, and impulse control has never been her strongest feature. She shot him, then went running to Chloe (Elizabeth Henrickson). She’s also the one who could have had access to Billy’s (Jason Thompson) gun. Case closed.

Or maybe it was Chloe, 4% of the audience counters. Chloe loves shooting Adam. She’s done it a bunch of times. She is obsessed with getting Chelsea away from him. And she’s just had a baby. Which means she can always plead postpartum depression and walk. Or go on the run again. Or fake her death. Again. Truly, Chloe, more than anyone, has an exit strategy.
