Pitter Patter

Since all Chance (Donny Boaz) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) ever talk about is how many kids they’re going to have, 91% of the audience voted for sure, go ahead, have that baby. Then you can argue about whether to name your son Dashiell or Cary, or your daughter Agatha or Diana? That sounds absolutely riveting. And then the kid can get sick or kidnapped or something. Or just never be seen again.

Not A Chance

A much smaller 5% voted for an infertility story. Nothing brings out the worst in people than being deprived of the thing they want most. And nothing brings out the best in a story than the worst in people.

If the reason they can’t have babies is Abby, then, odds are, they’ll hire a surrogate mother… who Abby will fear Chance falling in love with.

If the reason they can’t have babies is Chance, then, odds are, Abby will sleep with another guy and try to pass the baby off as Chance’s.

If they decide to adopt, the birth mother will move in with them, fall in love with Chance, and try to steal him from Abby. When that fails, she’ll take the baby and disappear. Pick a card, any card….

Without a baby, Chance and Abby will likely quickly realize they don’t actually have anything in common. They’ll break up. And then Abby will find herself pregnant believe 4% of you. After Chance has moved on with someone else. That’s when Victor (Eric Braeden) will get involved. He’s very picky about who gets to raise his grandchildren.
