What Will Sharon Do Without Dylan?

On The Young and the Restless, Dylan (Steve Burton) has taken off for parts unknown in an attempt to keep vengeful drug dealers from coming after his family.

With Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) choosing to live with her grandparents, and Noah (Robert Adamson) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) adults with their own lives, Sharon (Sharon Case) is left all alone. Sharon hates being alone. What will she do now? Almost 4000 fans took a guess:

Gimme a Break(Down)
At Paul (Doug Davidson) and Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) urging, Sharon is prepared to take all the blame for Dylan’s departure, telling family and friends that he couldn’t forgive her for the baby Christian/Sully disaster.

That level of guilt and deception is not going to do wonders for Sharon’s mental health. And Sharon’s mental health isn’t too wonderful to begin with. 47% of you think Dylan’s abandonment will prove the last straw, driving Sharon to a mental break-down and back to Fairview… hopefully with a much better doctor, this time around.

You Got To Pick Yourself Up, Dust Yourself Off….
This isn’t Sharon’s first time at rock bottom. This is the woman who gave her baby up as a teen-ager (well, it was two babies, but she didn’t know it at the time), outlasted a stalker, persevered through one daughter’s death and what she thought was the death of another, plus a whole lot of horrible relationships. At the end of the day, Sharon is a survivor, and 32% of fans expect her to survive this latest set-back, as well.

The Waiting Game
Plus, in a world where the dead return home on a regular basis, 21% of viewers believe Sharon has ample reason to just sit and wait for Dylan to return.

The drug dealer was a day-player. How much of a threat is he going to be? Day players have a way of suddenly becoming less threatening whenever a contract player feels like making their way back to Genoa City.
