Since Adam is currently all anybody can talk about on The Young and the Restless, we figured we’d hop on board and give him all of our attention, as well.
The Young and the Restless Polling
What, oh, what should be done about poor Adam (Mark Grossman), who is either so evil or so misunderstood, depending on whom you ask? Well, we asked almost 4,000 viewers. And they answered!
Talk It Out
A winning 45% of the audience thinks Adam needs therapy. Lots and lots of therapy. And maybe, this time, not with someone he’s slept with. Whose child he kidnapped. Feels like there just might be a little too much baggage there, you know, to get anything productive done. It’s a good thing Victor and Sharon are taking care of that in an extreme way.
Lock Him Up!
A smaller 30% of you isn’t in the mood for coddling. You’re in the mood for shackles. Send the lifelong criminal to jail, throw away the key, and let him sit around thinking about what he’s done wrong. He’ll have lots of time. And he might even start admitting that a few of his bad breaks may have been his fault.
Victor Knows Best
In the end, 14% realize it doesn’t matter what we think should happen to Adam. The only thing that matters is what Victor (Eric Braeden) thinks should happen to Adam. And Victor has come down on the side of poor Adam is in pain, and we should all do anything we can to help him. Within Victor’s parameters, of course. So the Newman version of tough love, it is! You got that?
Love Potion
All he needs is love, 11% sigh, just like every other deluded woman who has previously thought the same thing. Once Adam believes somebody truly loves him, he’ll stop being a bad boy. And, no, Chelsea rearranging her entire personality so she could be his biggest cheerleader obviously wasn’t enough. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
