On The Young and the Restless, spoilers for the week of May 6 – May 10 focus on cleaning up messes, covering tracks, and facing consequences. Do not miss this week of Y&R.
While his entire family basks in the fact that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is dead, Victor (Eric Braeden — who’s helping Daytime Stand Up to Cancer) knows that the evil woman is still alive. He’s got her holed up in the prison where he’s the warden. He decides to give Jordan a taste of her own medicine. What does that look like? A vodka-filled IV? A shot of poison? Is this a literal taste or a metaphorical one?
Later, Cole (J. Eddie Peck) might be on to Victor because the Newman patriarch is forced to cover his tracks with Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) ex. And, once again, Jordan tries to strike a deal with Victor. At this point, there’s no way Victor will let his nemesis out from behind bars. When will this move blow up in his face?
The sudden mess that is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has some serious explaining to do. He destroyed years of sobriety in order to get Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to accept rehab into her life (Soap Hub breaks down Jack and Nikki’s train wreck of an all-nighter right here).
His post-train wreck steps include coming clean with Diane (Susan Walters). Yeah, that’s going to go well. Diane has every right to come down on Jack hard. In fact, she ends up handing Jack an ultimatum. She probably wants him to cut ties with Nikki as a sponsor and friend, right? She’s been wary of their bond for a while. Jack severing his connection with Nikki may be the only way he can save face with Diane. It might be an easy ask, considering Victor already warned him to stay away from his wife.
Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) mental health spirals further and further downward. Look for her alters to continue to fight for control and dominance.
It looks like Lily (Christel Khalil) has to make a tough decision. Is this about giving Daniel (Michael Graziadei) what he wants and then ignoring him for the rest of his natural-born life? Or is it about Chancellor Winter’s business, and she decides to hitch her wagon to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)? Will she work against her family and rule CW with him? It’s becoming apparent that Lily has a ton of tough decisions ahead of her.
Even though Harrison (Redding Munsell) has been rescued and Claire (Hayley Erin) found, Summer (Allison Lanier) keeps the blame game going. Once again, she holds Kyle (Michael Mealor) accountable for his actions. What does that mean for their co-parenting relationship? And, finally, how are Summer and Kyle supposed to act civil when their mothers cannot contain their disgust for each other? Look for Phyllis (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee Michelle Stafford) and Diane to spar. Happy Mother’s Day, ladies!
