The investigation into Heather’s (Vail Bloom) death continues, with Daniel (Michael Graziadei) being the prime suspect. While Daniel and his family maintain his innocence, Chance (Conner Floyd) has to follow every lead. Chance meets Summer (Allison Lanier) at Society to update her about her brother’s case. “I did find some disturbing evidence in Heather and Daniel’s apartment. Things don’t look too good for your brother right now,” Chance explains. Did Chance find the bloody towels Sharon (Sharon Case) planted? Or did he find something else that could put a new twist on this mystery?
Elsewhere, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) is fuming after being fired. She wants revenge on Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Victor (Eric Braeden) and knows who will help her. Audra meets Jack (Peter Bergman) at the GCAC to reveal some important intel. “Victor Newman, he’s the silent investor behind Glissade. He is the one who’s been pulling Kyle’s strings all along,” Audra tells the Jabot CEO. With this piece of information, Jack will be more determined than ever to take down his longtime business rival. If he teams up with Audra, they’ll be quite the force against Kyle and Victor.
Later, Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) is with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) at Chancellor Park. The young girl is having a difficult time with her mother’s death and her dad under investigation. Phyllis decides to take her granddaughter’s mind off the situation with a heart-to-heart talk. “Would you like to know about your grandmother? I have a few stories to tell you,” she says while snuggling with Lucy on a bench. Lucy will get an earful as she learns about Phyllis’ past, and one must wonder what type of influence it’ll have on the teen.
