May continues to be full of surprises on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for this week’s video previews that Phyllis concocts a new scheme to save herself, while Nick’s behavior raises more suspicion in Adam. Here’s a sneak peek for May 11-15.
Key Takeaways
- Phyllis and Michael discuss her new legal strategy.
- Adam makes an accusation towards Nick.
- A chance encounter has Patty infatuated with Matt.
Next On…
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has found herself in quite the pickle. Thanks to Victor’s (Eric Braeden) fake AI documents, she’s facing possible prison time for illegal business activities. Phyllis could end this all by giving back Newman Enterprises, but she’s not ready to throw in the towel.
This week, Phyllis meets with Michael (Christian LeBlanc) to discuss her new strategy. Michael believes Phyllis is ready to make a deal by giving up Newman Enterprises to avoid legal repercussions. But Phyllis says that she has “something better in mind.”
If there’s one thing Phyllis is good at, it’s fighting til the very end. Whatever she has in mind might work out well for her, but be trouble for Victor.
Harsh Accusation
After his return from Vegas, Nick (Joshua Morrow) finally admitted his drug problem and seems ready to get help. However, Matt’s (Roger Howarth) unexpected arrival isn’t helping matters.
One person who’s concerned about Nick is his brother Adam (Mark Grossman). The two grew closer in Vegas, and Nick’s overdose had Adam scared that they almost lost him.
When the brothers meet up at the ranch, Nick’s behavior has Adam suspicious that his brother has relapsed. “If you want to make an accusation, come out with it,” an angry Nick tells Adam.
Adam then asks point-blank if Nick is using again. While Nick will declare he’s not back on drugs, it’s understandable why Adam might be doubtful. Nick kept reassuring everyone he was fine while he was using, and it put him in danger.
Is Nick really on the path to recovery? Or will he return to old habits?
Devilish Duo
Speaking of Matt, the amnesiac villain continues to make the rounds around Genoa City. One of his stops is at Crimson Lights, where he bumps into Patty (Stacy Haiduk).
Matt smiles at Patty, who returns the gesture. It seems the two are immediately infatuated with each other and will find out they have much in common.
When Patty learns Matt is an enemy of Victor and the Newmans, she could use it to her advantage. A Patty and Matt pairing would definitely shake things up in Genoa City.
