Today, Sharon and Mariah’s mother/daughter relationship on The Young and the Restless (YR) works fairly well, but that wasn’t always the case.
When she first arrived in Genoa City, Sharon (Sharon Case) thought Mariah (Camryn Grimes) simply strongly resembled her late daughter Cassie. Sharon did something she appears to be repeating right now with a family in need: She took Mariah in and helped her out, and at the time she didn’t even know their true relationship.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) also felt a connection with Mariah based in part on her resemblance to Cassie. Mariah felt he wanted her, and she set off to seduce him under Sharon’s nose.
In the intense clip above, Sharon caught Mariah, and after a terrible argument, she threw Mariah out of her house. Things sure have changed since that horrid day.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
