Camryn Grimes wasn’t always Mariah on The Young and the Restless (YR). First, she was Cassie, and the actress grew up on the show.
Starting in 1997, Grimes portrayed Cassie on the show; the daughter Sharon (Sharon Case) gave up for adoption. Eventually, Sharon learned Cassie was her little girl, and Nick (Joshua Morrow) adopted her and they became a family.
In May 2005, Cassie died following a car crash, and things were never the same. After several years of appearing occasionally as Cassie’s ghost, Grimes appeared in Genoa City as Mariah, Cassie’s twin sister and Sharon’s other daughter.
Relive some of Cassie’s earlier years in this delightful clip above. Have you enjoyed watching Camryn Grimes grow up on the show?
