Shortly after Phyllis and Nick said “I do” again on The Young and the Restless (YR), she faced a massive shock, and the wedding night didn’t go exactly as she planned.
Although Nick (Joshua Morrow) had some reservations ahead of marrying Phyllis (then Michelle Stafford), he ultimately went through with it, and everybody was (grudgingly) on hand to witness the couple’s nuptials.
Just as the church cleared towards the reception, Detective Sullivan read Phyllis her rights while handcuffing her right there in front of everybody. The charges — extortion.
Apparently, Phyllis had blackmailed Brad (Don Diamont), and everybody knows a wedding is an absolutely dramatic time for an arrest!
