Those were the days on The Young and the Restless (YR). Katherine and Jill’s rivalry was in full effect, and for a time, Jill found herself on top.
In this interesting collection of clips, Jill (then Brenda Dickson) had recently become Mrs. John Abbott, and Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) tried multiple times and ways to embarrass her in her new position.
At one point, Katherine tries to show steamy slides of Jill to John (Jerry Douglas), but Jill thinks quickly and fakes an illness. Later, Katherine crashes Christmas at the Abbotts, and ultimately tells Jill she’ll never be rid of her — a prophecy that turned out to be true.
