Once upon a time on The Young and the Restless (YR), Lily was the defiant teenager and her mother Dru was the firm enforcer.
My how things have changed, or is history simply repeating itself (feuding parents, disapproval)? Now Lily (Christel Khalil) has her own teenage daughter who she’s desperately trying to parent the right way.
In this flashback clip below, Dru (Victoria Rowell) literally rips Lily away from Daniel (Michael Graziadei) — a guy her parents absolutely did not approve of.
Despite this, “Daily” as fans called them, managed to gain near supercouple status. Of course, that was long before Cane (Daniel Goddard) arrived in Genoa City and captured Lily’s heart.
