Tessa has come and gone from The Young and the Restless so many times now, it’s hard to keep track of what she wants and why she does the things she does.
Currently, her story is that she came back for the love of Mariah (Camryn Grimes), oh, and, by the way, she needs a place to live, a job, and $20,000. So she can resettle poor, sex-trafficking victim, baby sister Crystal.
Sharon (Sharon Case) is skeptical. Devon (Bryton James) is downright hostile. Mariah, on the other hand, is ditching her whole personality and several decades of life experience to remain upbeat and optimistic.
Do the fans trust Tessa (Cait Fairbanks)? Here’s what almost 4,000 had to say.
About As Far As We Can Throw Her
Nope, 92% of you assert. We don’t trust her. She’s been shifty from the start. Remember when she weaseled her way into Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) life – and house?
Remember how she lied to Noah (Robert Adamson)? And when she stole Mariah’s song? And lied to Devon about it?
Remember when she said she was leaving town, but then she came back, but then she left again, and, the next time we saw her, she was sneaking around the Newman property?
Do you blame Sharon and Devon for taking everything Tessa says with a grain of salt?
Love Fixes Everything
Tessa wasn’t interested in Mariah romantically at first, but 7% of the audience believes her feelings now are real.
She chose to leave her sister and return to Mariah, even if she wasn’t certain of what kind of reception she’d get when she did.
Now she’s trying to turn her life around, with a new job and an honesty-is-the-best-policy approach to life. She deserves the same benefit of the doubt Sharon and Devon once got.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
