Soapopera fans in general, and The Young and the Restless (YR) fans in particular, all have different likes and dislikes when it comes to characters, couples, and stories. But which Y&R plot are they hating the most at the moment? Almost 5,000 viewers sent a strong message to The Powers That Be!
I Want It All
Given five stories to choose from, 36% of you chose… all of them. That’s not a good sign. Hilary (Mishael Morgan), Devon, Dina (Marla Adams), Billy, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni)– they’re all putting you to sleep. But which one is being particularly annoying?
You’re Going To Make It After All
Hilary is making like Mary Tyler Moore and going forth in life like a strong, independent, professional woman, and 19% of fans couldn’t care less. Maybe she should move to Minneapolis.
Home On the Ranch
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has kicked out Victor (Eric Braeden) and moved in Tessa, and 16% of viewers have no interest in visiting the Newman Ranch as long as that’s going on. Yeah, maybe Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) has something fun up her sleeve – but she’d better hurry up and get to it!
Math Class
Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Billy (Jason Thompson), and Phyllis are trapped in a never-ending triangle, but 14% of you think it’s pretty square.
Mama’s Home!
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) isn’t happy to see Dina back in Genoa City, and 7% of the audience agree with her. The Abbotts were managing fine without their matriarch, and so were you.
I’m Loving It!
But there is a spot of good news! A positive 5% of fans don’t have a storyline they’re not enjoying. Those fortunate folks are loving it all!
Winters End
Dina may have been impressed by Neil (Kristoff St. John’s) and Devon’s (Bryton James) new company, but 4% of you aren’t looking to invest, either in it, or the story around it.
