Soaps are all about Comings and Goings (that’s why there’s a whole section dedicated to that), though The Young and the Restless does try to keep theirs to a minimum. But there are still some obviously missing faces. Which are you missing the most? What over 3,000 viewers told us:
A majority 58% of you can’t understand why Chance isn’t here for the story of his own child’s conception and birth. Nina (Tricia Cast) and a box of gifts aren’t cutting it. If Chance were around, Abby (Melissa Ordway) wouldn’t be so uptight. Which would help relax Mariah (Camryn Grimes). And be good for the baby, all the way around.
Where is Paul (Doug Davidson), 33% of the audience wants to know. Why isn’t he the one hunting for Adam (Mark Grossman)? Why is the victim of the crime, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), also the one investigating it? Victor (Eric Braeden) can’t really intimidate Rey much, but think of how often he could bring up his past with Paul when trying to convince him to do things his way?
Lily (Christel Khalil) and Billy (Jason Thompson) are so boring, 8% of you whine. Bring back Cane (Daniel Goddard)! This supercouple never got closure, and we demand to see them work out their differences in person – while Billy can hang around on the outskirts and make his pouty face.
Less than 1% remember that Christine (Lauralee Bell) exists and wish we could see more of her. She hasn’t been a key player in over a decade. We might give her a call the next time somebody needs a lawyer, like she just did for Faith (Reylynn Caster). But as far as an active storyline goes, you remember the early 1990s, when she was the entire show. And don’t want to go back there again, ever. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
