The fate of Hilary is up in the air on The Young and the Restless (YR). Teasers and spoilers point at the much-loved GC TV host dying, but could there be a different ending in the works?
She Lives?
It’s not often Y&R has a character suffer more than a few hours before their death.
If Hilary (Mishael Morgan) was going to be killed off, many think it would have been on the operating table, not a week later. Spoilers reveal Devon (Bryton James) will be praying for a miracle and what if he gets it?
A Miracle Cure?
Nate’s (Brooks Darnell) in charge of Hil’s care but he already lost the baby in surgery so it’s not likely Devon’s going to trust him, especially since Dr. Nate can’t seem to find a way for Hilary to live.
Devon has billions of dollars at his disposal and can buy Hilary the best medical care in the world – there’s no way he’s going to let her fade away in Genoa City.
A Trip to Europe?
Devon’s going to open his wallet of his and offer up his bank account to whoever can fix his woman.

All it’s going to take is finding a specialist, some high tech treatment, or experimental protocol and Devon will pack Hilary on his private jet and whisk her away to another part of the world.
Perhaps he’ll even let his friends and family believe she died.
A Brand New Hilary!
It goes without saying, the intervention will take months and when Hilary returns she will be completely different. (Recast?)
By that point, she’ll have a fresh start and everyone will be so happy she survived they’ll forget all about her tumultuous past. It’ll be out with the old Hilary and in with the new as an improved (or not) version of the famous schemer hits the GC streets.
