Tristan Rogers wants his fans to know that a published report indicating he was set to re-appear as Colin on The Young and the Restless is not true. The actor took to social media to set the record straight.
A site had stated that Rogers was bringing Colin back to Genoa City on Wednesday, January 31. However, that turns out not to be the case and there’s confusion as to how the report got started.
Rogers let his fans know in a tweet that, according to him, Mal Young, the executive producer of Y&R, let Rogers know he was not returning to the show on the date in question.
This isn’t to say that Rogers won’t be popping up in Genoa City ever again. The character of Colin has appeared on and off in a recurring basis on the show since being taken off contract a while back.
But perhaps the place where Rogers really belongs is Port Charles, the locale of General Hospital, where he plays the highly popular character Robert Scorpio. His absence has been felt there during the recent Faison (Anders Hove) storyline.
The good news is that Rogers has availability to do both shows and as story and schedules allow, fans will hopefully be seeing him on both!
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
Let me say that I will NOT be back on the 31st. The EP has made that quite clear.
