The last several weeks have been hard for people around the world, needing to stay in place to try to flatten the curve during the coronavirus pandemic but it’s been an even rougher couple of days for The Young and the Restless star, Mishael Morgan, as she revealed a huge loss for her family.
Mishael Morgan Opens Up About Loss
The actress who used to play talkshow host Hilary Curtis and now portrays her lookalike (and possibly twin?) legal eagle Amanda Sinclair, turned to her Instagram account to let her followers know what happened to a beloved member of her family.
“Rest in power auntie 💔. My great auntie Semoy was a true angel on earth. I wish I could say “goodbye” and “thank you”, one last time 😔. Cheers to this special lady who will be deeply missed. Love you auntie 😘❤️”
Co-stars past and present, including Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane), Sean Dominic (Nate), showed their support in the comments section. But they weren’t the only ones to make their feelings known.
Morgan’s older sister Maggris chimed in with a touching story in the comments section. “Such a inspriring strong woman! I remember when we were little jumping on her bed and playing with her perfumes. Especially when you had the car accident; walking in while having a bag of money for your surgery. Watching her running her own business like a boss! She is what my idea of a strong and independent woman should be😢😍😢😍”
This wasn’t the star’s only huge loss in the last six months. Last November 5, Morgan lost her beloved father. At the time, she wrote about him saying, “I have been sitting with this post for a week; wondering what to say about the man that will forever remain the cornerstone of my heart.”
She wrote a stunning tribute then as well, which you can see below. Soap Hub sends condolences and sympathy to Mishael Morgan and her entire family during this difficult time. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
