The Young and the Restless Star Miles Gaston Villanueva Claims New Fame!

The Young and the Restless star Miles Gaston Villanueva’s name is up in lights all over the place lately. From daytime and stage to primetime, his star is taking off.

Villanueva is now learning to perform double duty. As he keeps up with his role as Luca on Y&R, he’s also branching out. Not only is he working on multiple projects, but he’s acting alongside some of the biggest names in the industry.

Spending Time in the Theatre!
Just last week, Villanueva took the stage opposite legends Tony-and-Emmy-winning actress Judith Light and Oscar-winner Al Pacino. The trio starred in a workshop production of “God Looked Away,” a play about Tennessee Williams (Pacino). Villanueva played “Baby,” who was the playwright’s real-life lover.

A Move to Primetime!
While the stage production has come to a close, fans can also see him starring in an upcoming episode of the CW hit “Jane the Virgin.” His new role may be a big secret, but he was able to divulge his airdate to Michael Fairman. He’ll hit the primetime screen on October 17 opposite the show’s leading lady, Golden Globe-winner Gina Rodriguez.

Movie Time!
You should also be on the lookout for his role in the movie “Saturn Returns.” The film stars former soap stars Erin Chambers (ex-Melanie, Y&R) and Michael Cory Davis (ex-Josh, The Bold and the Beautiful). Viewers can expect this production to be released either late this year or in early 2017.
