Recently, the two-time Emmy-award winning actress took to social media to let her followers know how important family is to her. “Last night was a real special night for our family,” Stafford posted. “We celebrated someone really important to us. Family is EVERYTHING.
“Life is fast. Things are fleeting. It was a tough year for my family last year. We all came out the other side. To say I have newfound respect for my parents is an understatement. Last night they (My mom and Step-Father) gave a party for everyone who supported THEM last year. Isn’t that amazing? They wanted to celebrate their friends!
“They were the ones who had a horrendous year but they wanted to say “thank you” to all who gave them joy. Celebrate those who give you joy. Do it when they are alive. Say I love you now. Say what matters now. I have a tremendously amazing family. I am a real lucky woman.”
