Abby’s had a lot of exes on The Young and the Restless, but few will ever match Zack Stinnett, played by Ryan Ashton, as Zack was involved in a sex trafficking ring! Now, Abby’s portrayer, Melissa Ordway, is partnering with a company to help bring awareness to the issue in real-life.
Melissa Ordway Has A Message
“January is Human Trafficking Prevention and Awareness month!” posted Ordway, informing her followers that 1) trafficking occurs in all 50 states 2) the average age that girls are trafficked is 12 and 3) over 70% of women who are being exploited were in the foster care system at one point in their lives.
“The statistics can be overwhelming, but we can’t turn away,” Ordway continues. “I want to help spread awareness and use my voice to be a part of the solution, which is why I’m so excited to partner with @uncvrdjewelry, a jewelry company that is dedicated to empowering at-risk girls in foster care and ending exploitation and trafficking.”

Fortunately, Abby didn’t fall into a serious relationship with Zack, who is not likely to pop up again as he was shot to death, sending him to that great soap in the sky. Recently, Abby wed a far more stable guy in Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Currently, the newlyweds are living in the iconic Chancellor mansion and are trying to have a baby.
