The Return Of Lane? Did Daniel Goddard Reveal A Christel Khalil Comeback?

Good — possibly great — news for “Lane” fans of The Young and the Restless! Daniel Goddard has an important update about his YR leading lady Christel Khalil. And it could mean you’ll be seeing your favorite couple back together!

Last year, Khalil, an Emmy-winner for her role as Lily Winters Ashby on YR, opted to go on recurring status with the CBS soap. To accommodate her absence, YR wrote in Lily going off to jail for her role in Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) death.

Lily was released from prison just before the death of her beloved father Neil (the late great Kristoff St. John). After his memorial, Lily told Cane (Daniel Goddard) that she was leaving town and their life together was over.

Now, however, Goddard has tweeted a video showing that Christel Khalil has a parking spot placard in the parking lot on the lot where YR tapes. While it’s possible that Khalil is visiting the studio lot for another show, our money, based on Goddard’s infectious grin and her spot being right next to his, is that Lily’s on her way back to Genoa City!
