The month of May is one Beth Maitland of The Young and the Restless won’t forget anytime soon! The actress has had not one or two, but three things to celebrate!
On Sunday, the actress is celebrated two of those events. Not only was it Mother’s Day, which Maitland celebrated with daughter, Emelia Banninger, but it was also Maitland’s birthday, having been born on May 12.
Earlier this month, she went to the Daytime Emmys as a nominee in the Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series category for her role as Traci Abbott on YR. She won the award the first time she was nominated in 1985, making her YR’s first acting Emmy winner!
A native of Rapid City, South Dakota, Maitland, and her family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona when she was seven years old.
In addition to her run as the rock of the Abbott clan, Maitland’s other credits include the film Mr. Holland’s Opus, the TV movie Plaza Suite, and the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds!
Soap Hub joins Maitland’s family, friends, and fans in wishing the actress a happy birthday and many happy returns!
