The Young and the Restless Star Alyvia Alyn Lind Lands A New Role

Faith may be away at school a little longer on The Young and the Restless. Her portrayer, Alyvia Alyn Lind, has landed a new role that is going to take some time to film!

Deadline reports that Lind has been cast in Masquerade, a thriller set to star Bella Thorne (Boo! A Madea Halloween) and will be directed by Dax Taylor. The film tells the story of Casey (Lind), an 11-year-old, who has to survive a night of danger as people break into the family home to steal some valuable artwork.

Lind’s on-screen parents are played by Austin Nichols (The Walking Dead) and Mircea Monroe (Episodes, Book Club). Skyler Samuels (The Gifted) plays an ally of Rose’s (Thorne). The film’s executive producers are Stuart Manashil, Joe Heath, Corky Taylor, Ron Kirchhoff, Jeff Walz, Brian Dahlin, Roman Terrill, Raja Collins, and her father, John Lind.

In addition to making occasional appearances on The Young and the Restless, Lind has been appearing as a series regular on the programs Future Man and Daybreak. Her other series include Transparent, Masters of Sex, and Revenge.

Lind has also appeared in the Dolly Parton biopic projects Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors and its sequel Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.

As veteran YR fans recall, Faith was the child that Cassie (Camryn Grimes) predicted that her parents Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) would have after she (Cassie) passed away. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
