When Plans Backfire
Victor (Eric Braeden) just can’t seem to get it right when it comes to his youngest son. Trying to blackmail Adam (Justin Hartley) into taking over Newman backfired so badly the younger man ended up with a 30-year jail sentence. When Victor didn’t save him fast enough, Adam began to lose his mind and beat up a guard.
Now, his plans to get his son to freedom and out of the country seems to end in the worst way possible. Adam is presumed dead in an explosion, and there are fingers already pointing at him for murder.
The Prime Suspect?
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) can’t think of anyone else who’d commit such a heinous crime. In fact, Chelsea can’t believe she didn’t see this set up a million miles away. Victor’s promises were just too good to be true, and she beats herself up for falling for it.

Sadly, this is the one time Victor is without sin. Had he known his son would end up losing his life he wouldn’t have set this in motion. Adam would be safely behind bars, and Victor would hire a new team of lawyers.
Exposing the Truth!
Victor better work quickly to get to the bottom of this tragedy. He needs to find out who killed his son and why, or if Adam is actually dead. For all anyone knows, Adam could have figured out a way to run off on his own.
