It’s not looking so good for Adam (Justin Hartley). His trial begins and he and his family are on pins and needles. This court case could change their lives. The trauma from Victor’s (Eric Braeden) trial has barely healed, leaving Newman nerves raw.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) informs Paul (Doug Davidson) that Christine (Lauralee Bell) is on the wrong side. She finds it hard to believe that the district attorney believes the lies Victor has told to exact revenge on Adam and the whole family.
In advance of their arrival in court, Ian (Ray Wise) gives Victor an earful. He tells The Mustache he plans to stay ahead of Victor’s every move. Despite being responsible for his own crimes, Ian refuses to let Victor frame Adam.
Upon arriving at the courthouse, Victor says something that stuns his family. His words could alter the course of Adam’s life. But will they do so in a good way? Heaven help the person whose life rests in Adam’s hands! Tune in to find out what happens!
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) implores Sharon (Sharon Case) to get help. The desperate mother continues to fall apart, as the guilt caused by keeping Sully’s true identity a secret eats away at her. She can’t shake the visions of Sage and continues to behave like a cat on a hot tin roof!
Sharon knows she’s in bad shape. She can’t accept the idea of admitting she needs help. If she does, she fears that she’ll be seen as an unfit mother and then she’ll lose Sully!
