The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlight

Last week, it was all about classics; including the first two episodes ever broadcast. Now YR is gearing up to spotlight some magical (re: dramatic) moments featuring the many members of the Newman family.

Nick Learns and Victoria Gives Cause For Concern

On Monday, July 27, the clock turns back to August 30, 1994, for an episode with Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (ex-Heather Tom) at the forefront. He gets a lesson on the importance of the Newman legacy and she worries their mother with her newfound independence. A conversation between Drucilla (Victoria Rowell) and Olivia (Tonya Lee Williams) concerning a medical issue will also be seen.

Papa, Can You Hear Me?

Victor’s (Eric Braeden) learning of Abby’s true parentage (yes, he is her father!)  – a moment which originally occurred on April 2, 2004 – is the highlight of Tuesday’s episode.

Cassie: It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye…

Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) untimely death and her loved ones’ reactions to it dominate Wednesday’s episode which also features Malcolm (Shemar Moore) worrying about Lily’s (Christel Khalil) relationship with Daniel (Michael Graziadei).

Wedding Daze

The episode repeated on Thursday, July 30 originally aired in the winter of 2008 and concerns the wedding of Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and J.T. (Thad Luckinbill). That show also includes Jack (Peter Bergman) plotting against Gloria (Judith Chapman) and a warring Victor and Nick agreeing to a truce.

Victor Newman — A Past Is Laid To Rest

The week wraps up with a look back at a particularly poignant moment in the life of Victor Newman: the day he confronted his father, Albert Miller (George Miller), and unleashed decades of pent up fury over the thorough mistreatment and the eventual abandonment that he had to endure. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
