The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 27, 2020 launch Newman Week… not to be confused with Victor and Nikki week, or Classic Weddings Week or Fan Favorite Week, featuring the Newman, with an August 30, 1994 episode. Victor gives Nick a lesson in being a Newman, Nikki worries that Victoria has forgotten that she is one, and there are other, non-Newman people hanging around, too.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
The Newman name has a grand old legacy stretching back, oh, to the 1970s. That’s when Victor (Eric Braeden) made it up. His real family name is Miller.
Nevertheless, Victor believes it’s a name for the ages. And he wants his son, Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) to feel the same way. So Victor gives Nick a lesson in Newman…ness. How they’re supposed to think, feel, and act. Don’t worry, Nick, Victor will always let you know when you haven’t lived up to the blessing he has given you.
Tow the Line
At the same time, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is worrying that Victor’s other child, Victoria (Heather Tom) might be doing a little too much thinking for herself. She’s shown a disturbing lack of fealty to the Newman name and business, insisting on going out on her own and, you know, doing things. Nikki has a chat about that with Victoria, as well.
Sister Act
Oh, also Dru (Victoria Rowell) has some medical questions for her sister, Olivia (Tonya Lee Williams). But they’re not about the Newman family’s health, so they really don’t matter.
Besides, Dru hasn’t got all that long to live. Though her death will come about as a result of a medical condition known as falling off a cliff. It’s a very common soap affliction. Even Olivia will ultimately not be able to help with that. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
