The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, June 9, 2020 whisk viewers 19 years into the past, for a young Nick and Sharon, and a scheming Isabella.
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) are facing the same quandary so many young working parents – with millions of dollars at their disposal – face. With two kids and demanding jobs, they’ve barely had time to connect! But fear not! This is where the millions of dollars come in!
Millions of dollars helped their premature baby, Noah, survive, helped them win custody of Cassie (Camryn Grimes), and kept a roof over their heads when other teens who married right out of high-school are struggling.
And now, money once again comes to the rescue, as Nick whisks Sharon away to a romantic destination – who’s watching the kids? Somebody at the ranch, most likely – where they get to act all romantic and swear that nothing will ever break them apart. Nick and Sharon are destined to be together forever!
You’ve seen Paul (Doug Davidson) and Isabella (Eva Longoria) together, you’ve seen her presumed dead and trying to kill Christine (Lauralee Bell), and you’ve seen her and Paul’s son Ricky follow in his mother’s nutty footsteps.
Now, go back to the beginning and see when Isabella was first scheming to break up Paul and Chris. Neither Paul nor Christine are particularly bright, so it’s to be expected that they completely missed the signs of a snake in their midst.
In addition, who ever really believed these two were in love? She’s was just rebounding from Danny (Michael Damian), and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) – who she also didn’t realize was breaking up her marriage until it was too late – and Paul… Paul is terrible at the whole relationship thing.
He and April couldn’t make it work for their daughter’s sake. He and Lauren couldn’t make it work because she was constantly being kidnapped by psychos. So what chance do Paul and Chris have? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
