The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, April 13 pick up where this week left off. Phyllis and Nick are off on a romantic getaway… that quickly turns into something else, while the
push is on to stop Adam!
Let’s Talk Turkey
That escalated quickly. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) went from let’s just have sex on any desk we feel like it whenever we feel like it, to let’s be friends with benefits, to let’s give this relationship another shot even though we know how every single previous attempt ended.
To that end, Nick and Phyllis do the perfectly normal couple thing of going away for a perfectly normal weekend together. But then, things get weird.
A Confusing Conversation
Remember how Phyllis acted weird when she and Nick discussed Sharon’s (Sharon Case) breast cancer and Phyllis was suddenly all, “What if it was me? Would you stand by me? What if I got sick? Are we in this for the long haul or just for the funzies?” And then she took off, leaving Nick confused. (To be fair, Nick often looks confused.)
What if instead of laying around, having sex and ordering room service, Phyllis actually wants to talk about serious relationship things. Will Nick still be so gun-ho to give it another shot?
Circling the Wagons
Adam (Mark Grossman) has informed all the Newmans that, “I’m the captain now.” He expects them all to get with the program – or else.
Except Victor (Eric Braeden) has a plan. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has a plan. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has a plan. Even Billy (Jason Thompson) has a plan. Elsewhere, Summer is plotting to get what she wants but that will certainly backfire on her. In the meantime, Amanda is flying high on love and starts to think about her future in Genoa City.
Don’t go putting your portrait up yet instead of Victor’s, Adam. You’re one guy – well, and sychopant Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). And they’re the Newmans. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listing for air times.
