Ravi’s blossoming crush on Ashley is about to hit yet another roadblock. However, The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Ashley’s loss may become Phyllis’s gain.
A Romantic Gesture Goes Wrong!
Ravi (Abhi Sinha) is a hopeless romantic, and wants to sweep Ashley (Eileen Davidson) off her feet this Valentine’s Day. He decorates his office with paper hearts, and writes her a card he hopes will take her breath away. While it’s not dinner at a fancy restaurant, it’s still a sweet gesture he prays she’ll notice. And she does – but for all the wrong reasons!
Ashley Crushes Ravi!
After multiple failed attempts at finding Mr. Right, Ashley has just about given up. Not only does she giggle a bit at Ravi’s decor, she tells him she HATES the holiday! In fact, it’s her least favorite day of the year! She’s too much of a realist to fall for a day based on love.
It takes poor Ravi a minute to recover from the crushing blow. His heart breaks when he realizes all his efforts were for nothing – if anything they only set him back more. Instead of winning Ashley over, he just looks like a goofy guy with old ideals.
A New Romance?
Thankfully, what Ashley takes for granted, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) finds adorable. She’s a romantic type too and loves all the decorations! As a fellow singleton, she suggests goig to dinner with Ravi so they don’t have to spend the evening alone!
