It looks like the Nick and Chelsea rumors may become a reality. The Young and the Restless spoilers show the pair are getting closer in the next few weeks.

Love Is In The Air
According to the October 3rd edition of Soap Opera Digest, sweet little Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and meddling Sharon (Sharon Case) notice how sad and alone Nick’s become since Sage’s tragic death. They also realize Chelsea is recently single and in need of a little cheering up. Sure, she just lost the love of her life, but that’s no reason to stay single in Genoa City.

How Long Should Someone Grieve?
However, dating is the last thing on Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) mind. She’s concentrating on Connor, her work, and just getting through each day. She still yearns for her husband every second of every day. She can’t simply get over him by hooking up with someone else–or can she?

Nick (Joshua Morrow) is also healing after a devastating year and hasn’t thought much about moving on. Losing a son and a wife in such a short time put his life into perspective. The former player has grown up and he sees love in a different light. He knows the value of staying single and putting himself together before entering into a new romance.

Faith Is a Very Determined Girl!
Even still, Faith wants to have it her way. She just knows Daddy and Chelsea will get along. They’ve been spending quite a bit of time together, and their friendship could easily turn into more. Could Faith and Sharon’s misguided attempt at playing cupid end up with a match made in heaven?
