The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Newman Tricks and Schemes

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, April 7, 2020, clear the decks and light the lights as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wades into the Adam-Victor-Victoria quagmire, even as her daughter stand firm, plus Kyle (Micheal Mealor) pushes too far.

Mama Is Gonna See To It!
At the conclusion of Monday’s episode, Victor (Eric Braeden) told Victoria (Amelia Heinle) he needed to tell her something… then later called Adam (Mark Grossman) he wins… he can take over at Newman Enterprises. They fold.

Did Victor run his plan by Nikki? We are pretty sure he didn’t run his plan by Nikki. Because Nikki is one angry mommy. Nobody puts Nikki’s baby in a corner. (We mean Victoria in this case, but you read that any way you like.)

We’re not convinced that all is what it seems. Victor has a tendency to go to extremes – see Death, Faking Of – in order to checkmate Adam (who does have a tendency to keep falling for it).

But if he’s taking yet another gamble – and declining to fill in his wife, she’s going to strike back with everything she has in order to protect her husband and daughter. Look out, Adam! And especially Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), and Victoria.

With all the trickery going on, Phyllis finds herself in a situation with Abby and of course, it won’t go well. The redhead fumes when Abby tries to push forward on a new project.

When Nikki decides she knows what’s best for you, she doesn’t really care what you think about the matter. Victoria may be sticking to her guns. But Nikki is bringing out the serious firepower.

Don’t Know When To Quit
Kyle (Michael Mealor) is feeling his oats these days. He’s running Jabot. He has a wife who isn’t taking him for every penny, and a girlfriend who can’t stop talking about how happy they are. Really, what more can a man ask for?

Viewers will find out on Tuesday when Kyle decides – as the song says, that too much is not enough, and decides to go for more. YR airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listing for air times.
