The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, December 27, 2019, tease another familiar face coming back on the scene. The Newmans have Faith home for the holidays, Ashley surprised the Abbotts, and now, it’s Lauren and Michael’s turn for a Christmas surprise.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
It wouldn’t be Christmas in Genoa City without a miracle, and for Lauren, that’s the return of her youngest son. Fen (Zack Tinker) is home for the holidays and he has some big news for his mom and dad. It’s everything Lauren could ever ask for this season.
Spoilers show Fen surprising his parents when he shows up at Society. The Abbotts and their closest friends will sit down to share a meal but the food will be all but forgotten when Fen walks through the door. Expect tears of joy when Lauren holds her son in her arms and cries with joy over his arrival.
Squeaky Clean
To make things even better, Fen isn’t just out of rehab on a pass, he’s out for good. He’s clean, sober, and ready to put that part of his life behind him. It’s all music to Lauren’s ears. Does that mean her son is here to stay? Well, not so fast.

Fen is here for a visit but he’s ready to get back on the road on up on the stage. Music is his life and Devon (Bryton James) has offered him back his spot on the star-studded tour. The fans want Fen and it’s a calling he can’t give up.
A New Beginning For Fen
But, first, Fen has some amends to make. He can’t go on with his life without showing his remorse to Lauren and Michael and gaining their trust and their forgiveness. He did terrible things and treated everyone badly, especially them. Of course, they open their hearts and let bygones be bygones. They’re just so happy to have their boy back.
Is this a new beginning for the prodigal son? All will be well if he stays clean but that’s a tall order for the GC crowd. No one stays out of trouble for very long. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
