Brand new The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Adam’s about to ask Nick for a favor that could change the course of Chelsea and Connor’s future.

Be Connor’s Daddy?
Adam (Justin Hartley) knows his guilty plea is going to come with harsh consequences. By tomorrow he’ll face a tough sentencing and may lose his freedom for a very long time. It’s a grim future, but he’s ready to take full responsibility for his actions.

Adam’s taking some serious precautions to protect his family while he’s away. He begs his big brother to step up to the plate and take on the most important role. Nick (Joshua Morrow) is the most stable person he knows, and he asks him to become Connor’s father figure.

He wants Nick to be the man he can’t. He makes him promise to teach Connor how to ride a bike, throw a baseball, and help the little boy grow up well. Connor deserves the best, and Adam knows the best is Nick. Of course, Nick will be great for Connor, but will his role stop there?

Nick and Chelsea Get Too Close for Comfort?
If Nick’s going to be around Connor all the time, that also means he’ll be seeing Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) regularly. Could spending all that time together lead to something more between them?

Nick and Chelsea have always gotten along, and after Christian’s “death”, she was a shoulder to lean on. While nothing more ever came from their friendship, with Adam out of the picture they could start to cozy up.
